A Mexican-inspired cafe and bakery will increase its territory in the San Antonio area, as La Panadería plans to open a fifth location in North San Antonio at 1011 N. Loop 1604 E.

While construction has not yet begun, the project is expected to be completed by late fall of 2025.

What's on the menu?

La Panadería offers a wide variety of authentic Mexican cuisine from tortas to dulces, as well as baked goods and specialty coffee.

The restaurant has a breakfast menu along with everyday brunch options, plus a gourmet selection of specialized tortas.

They also offer a build-your-own tortas menu, where each sandwich can be constructed from scratch, from the bread to the filling.

San Antonio-inspired specialty dishes like the Alamo Burger and the Fiesta Lobster Roll are also available on the menu.

Staying local

“Stone Oak is a vibrant and growing area, and we’re excited to bring La Panadería to a new part of the city,” owner Jose Cáceres said in a news release.

The brand new location will be the largest in the chain, housed in a 6,600 square foot building with 100 parking spaces in Stone Oak.

It will also have a cocktail menu with a covered outdoor patio.
