The beverage shop, previously owned by Ryan and Sara Howard, is now owned by Shawn Teague.
Teague said he was excited to be the new owner of the establishment.
“When this business opportunity was presented to me, I knew I couldn’t pass it up. I am so grateful to Ryan and Sara Howard for allowing me this opportunity,” Teague said in a Facebook post.
Teague said the shop is expected to open again on Memorial Weekend.
Digging deeper
Tipsy Tuber is a walk-up only business by the Comal River that offers to-go margaritas, daiquiris, snow cones and fair lemonade.
In an email to Community Impact, Teague said he plans to add small eats to the menu, such as hot dogs and nachos.
