Harris County Toll Road Authority is closing the Tomball Tollway main lanes and Grand Parkway eastbound main lanes this weekend, July 30 to Aug. 1, according to the HCTRA website.



On July 30 and 31 from 6 a.m.-5 p.m. each day, the following roads will be closed:

• eastbound main lanes on the Grand Parkway from the Rocky Road exit ramp to the Boudreaux Road entrance ramp;
• northbound main lanes on the Tomball Tollway from the Boudreaux exit ramp to the Grand Parkway tolled entrance ramp; and
• northbound entrance ramp from Northpointe to Tomball Tollway.

From July 30 at 6 a.m. to Aug. 1 at 5 a.m., the following roads will be completely closed:

• southbound main lanes on the Tomball Tollway from the Grand Parkway tolled exit ramp to Northpointe Boulevard.

Drivers can follow detours for both the Tomball Tollway and the Grand Parkway.

Follow these detours for drivers on the Tomball Tollway:

• traveling northbound: detour to frontage road at Boudreaux exit ramp; re-enter the tollway at the Grand Parkway entrance ramp; and
• traveling southbound: detour to frontage road at the Grand Parkway exit ramp; re-enter tollway at the Northpointe entrance ramp.

Follow these detours for drivers on the Grand Parkway:

• traveling eastbound: detour to frontage road at Rocky Road exit ramp; turn right to go southbound on Rocky; drivers can turn left to go eastbound on Boudreaux to get to the eastbound Grand Parkway frontage road; re-enter the Grand Parkway at the Boudreaux entrance ramp.
