What’s on the ballot?
Most of what’s on the ballot in the May election are local City Council and school board races, as well as some specific county measures, according to the county’s website.
Both Alvin and Pearland ISDs will have a pair of competitive school board races on the ballot this year, according to the county’s website. PISD has three total races, one of which is uncompetitive.
The city of Manvel will have two City Council positions on the ballot as well, both of which are competitive, according to the city’s website.
While not technically in Brazoria County, Friendswood residents will have a single competitive City Council race and one uncompetitive on the ballot this year, according to the city’s website. Those residents will cast their ballots in Galveston County.
