Houston ISD adopts $2.1B budget for FY 2025-26 as board welcomes new members

Houston ISD board managers adopted a roughly $2.12 billion budget for FY 2025-26 that will slash spending by roughly $54 million—or about 2.5% percent—compared to the district’s FY 2024-25 budget.
