Network of Community Ministries announced Celeste Sneeze as the organization’s president and CEO in a Dec. 2 news release.

What we know

Sneeze has already served for the past three months as the interim leader of Network, a nonprofit that brings together churches across Richardson to provide food assistance, mental health services, clothing and other basic needs for nearly 30,000 individuals. Before that, she led volunteer services, operations and programs as Network’s chief program officer.

“The entire organization is excited to see Celeste at the helm,” Network board chair Lindsay Turman said in the release. “Her deep expertise and forward-looking vision, along with her collaborative approach and ability to bring people together, will be invaluable as we strengthen our reach.”

What it means

According to the release, during her first three months leading Network, Sneeze created plans to expand its food pantry options and improve its facilities, as well as handled the suspension of SNAP benefits.

“It is a profound honor to be selected to lead Network,” Sneeze said in the release. “I look forward to building on Network’s legacy and advancing the work that makes such a difference in our community.”
