From a donut fun run to a summer bash, here are seven events happening this June in the Prosper and Celina area.

Rodeo Celina

The city’s rodeo is returning for its second year. The rodeo will feature several events including steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding, bareback riding and bull riding. Each day of the rodeo will have a special theme and beneficiary. Parking is $10 and cash only.Brass Tap Trivia

Head to Prosper’s The Brass Tap for trivia night every Thursday. The game is free to play and winners will receive prizes.Donut Dash

Join the Celina Police Department for a donut-themed fun run on National Donut Day. The 3rd annual event is a free 1-mile dash. Donuts and coffee will be served after the event.Celina Friday Night Market


Head to Celina’s Downtown Square for the monthly Friday Night Market. Attendees can expect local vendors offering handcrafted items, seasonal produce and artisanal goods.Movie Night on the Square

Watch “Despicable Me 4” on a large inflatable screen in downtown Celina. The event will have vendors for beverages and popcorn. A kids zone at the event will include costumed characters, bounce houses, games and crafts. The movie will play at sunset.Splash & Blast

Celebrate summer at Old Celina Park. The summer bash includes family-friendly fun with live music and a fireworks show. The event will feature a Kids Zone with water slides and an obstacle course.Worth the trip

Texas Music Revolution


The event, a two-day musical festival, features both chart-topping and emerging artists in the country and Americana genres. The year’s event features headlining acts Dawes and Flatland Cavalry, along with a lineup of other artists, including Taylor Hunnicutt, Bri Bagwell, Lola Kirke, Liam St. John and more.
