New $122M complex to bring admin building, community space to Prosper ISD

Prosper ISD will soon have a new multipurpose complex, including an administration building and community center. Along with the administration building and community center, the site plans include space for a future natatorium and another future project. That project has not yet been determined but initial conversations said it could be a performing arts center.

Celina ISD adjusts GPA system for incoming freshman

Under the new policy, all courses taken by high school students will be used to calculate GPA and class rank. This includes core classes as well as courses for fine arts, athletics, career and technical education, and other electives. The revised GPA system will begin with the graduating class of 2029.


Prosper ISD officials set goals to foster school pride, plan for continued growth through 2030

The plan consists of strategic objectives around the district’s four guiding principles—champion, empower, cultivate and prosper. The strategic priorities for 2025-2030 were created by over 400 staff members, students, parents and community members.

Celina ISD to begin planning process after $2.3B bond passes

After Celina ISD voters authorized $2.3 billion in bond bunds for various projects, district leaders look to start the planning process for opening new campuses. The bond program will help facilitate the district’s fast growth while expanding educational opportunities for current students. The program is set to build 10 new campuses including the district’s second high school.


Prosper ISD receives 'A' rating from state agency for 2022-23 school year

At PISD, 15 of its campuses received an A rating and six received a B rating. The district received a 90 out of 100, which is an A. This measures how much students are learning in each grade and whether or not they are ready for the next grade. It also shows how well a school or district prepares their students for success after high school in college, the workforce, or the military.
