At their July 28 meeting, Plano City Council members approved a $1.63 million contract for arterial concrete repairs on Custer Road from Spring Creek Parkway to Hedgcoxe Road.
The contract, awarded to Vernara LLC, will also include repairing 16,500 square feet of sidewalk and updating 37 ramps to ensure Americans with Disabilities Act compliance.

The project will be funded through the city’s 2024-25 Street Improvements Community Improvement Program, leaving about $863,000 for future related projects, according to city documents.
