Flying Fish is slated to open a second Plano location in the first quarter of 2026, a company news release states. The restaurant will be housed in the former Dickey’s BBQ space.

The fast-casual seafood eatery serves a variety of seafood options, including:
  • Crab
  • Oysters
  • Shrimp
  • Fried catfish
  • Fish fillets
“Popular daily specials include all-you-can-eat catfish on Wednesdays ($22.95) and “The Preacher’s Special,” $1.50 oysters all-day every Sunday,” the release states.

Flying Fish, founded by Shannon Wynne and Larry Richardson, operates eleven locations across Texas, Arkansas, and Tennessee, including its existing Plano restaurant on Powell Lane.
