Utah-based restaurant chain Cafe Zupas will start construction on a new McKinney location in October 2025, according to Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation documents. The restaurant is tentatively expected to open in November, a company representative said.

The menu offers sandwiches, salads and soup in addition to catering services, and each meal includes a chocolate-dipped strawberry, according to the restaurant’s website. Cafe Zupas opened its first location in Utah in 2004, and the company has over 80 locations in eight states, according to its website.
