A new smoothie place, Fresh Monkee, is opening along Rufe Snow Drive in Keller next year.

The Keller location is expected to start interior renovations for the business in February, according a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

The expected completion date for the project is Aug. 26.

Fresh Monkee offers a wide range of naturally flavored protein shakes with a large portion of fiber and low sugar, according to its website.


Some menu items include the Blueberry Pie, made with vanilla extract and blueberries and topped with graham crackers, and the Strawberry Moon, which comes with strawberries and banana. The business also has vegan and gluten-free options.
