The details
Owner Morgan Bianchi wanted a place for creatives and content creators to use and found a location in Old Town Keller. The spot most recently was Golden Haus Spa & Aesthetics and a bakery prior to that.
Bianchi said the studio will be like an Airbnb for creatives who need an hour for a photo shoot or to record a podcast. The location can be rented for a few hours or an entire day with full access to the whole property.
Bianchi said they added a backyard oasis that can be used year-round.
The background
Bianchi did multimedia content for Kendo Brands from her house, but said it got boring being in the same space all the time.
The Keller resident then found herself looking for places to voiceovers at 11 p.m. when her newborn son was asleep. That sparked the idea of this business, she said.
“The world is so digital now and there are so many content creators, photographers, videographers and podcasters. I realized we don’t have anything here that is perfectly curated and equipped for the creative community,” she said.
The business offers a variety of time spaces and there are also six- or 12-month memberships.
What else?
The name of the studio came from the common thread of content producing.
“If they book it as an event, they might be commemorating something or capturing their pregnancy or their baby's first birthday photo,” Bianchi said. “There are so many things, but they all have a common theme. It's a kindred spirit that's coming here. That's really how the name came to be. The people coming here are like my kindred spirits, my fellow creatives. I was thinking about everyone who will come into this space. We all have something in common.”
