Arohana Academy of Performing Arts is set to open this summer in Frisco, business owner Deepa Kamath said.

The dance studio will teach Vazhuvoor style Bharathanatyam, which is a dance form of India, the company website states.

Classes will be offered for students ages 6 and up, including adults.

“Founded in 2002 in India, Arohana has been dedicated to teaching Bharathanatyam and Indian folk dance forms for over two decades,” Kamath said in an email. “After expanding to Plano in 2018 and Frisco in 2019, the academy now marks a major milestone—opening its very own dance studio in Frisco.”
