Development continues to progress on a potential indoor golf campus, Golf Everywhere, in Flower Mound.

Council members unanimously approved a site plan with exceptions at the May 19 meeting, which will allow additional non-masonry siding and roofs outside of the town’s typically accepted ratio between 6:12 and 9:12. The roof pitch exceptions only apply to the proposed restaurant, wellness center and teaching building because they are under 15,000 square feet, respectively.

The details

The Golf Everywhere development will be located at 1600 Long Prairie Road. According to town documents, it will include:
  • A 37,279 square feet amusement and recreation center for an indoor golf facility
  • A 7,161 square feet health and wellness center
  • A 4,964 square feet golf teaching center
  • A 5,911 square feet restaurant with a 2,000-square-foot patio
The indoor golf facility has a short game area, 40 driving range bays and can accommodate more than 300 rounds of golf daily, according to previous Community Impact reporting.

“The intention is to bring something beautiful to the town,” said Golf Everywhere owner Myles Vlachos.

The non-masonry material exception will allow 32% metal siding on the exterior of the main indoor golf facility, but the remaining structures will have no more than the allowed 20% non-masonry material usage, Director of Development Lexin Murphy said. Outside of the requested exceptions, the site plan meets all town development and landscaping standards, Murphy added.

Per town documents, 315 parking spaces are included for the campus.

What’s next?

Construction on Golf Everywhere could begin this summer, per previous Community Impact reporting. The campus is tentatively scheduled to open to the public in 2027.
