Meanwhile Brewing will donate $1 per every Darling Lager beer purchased during the event.

The backstory

Through Beat 4 Beat, professional Austin musicians provide free after school music classes for at-risk students in Austin-area school districts and private schools. Founded in 2014, the nonprofit aims to use music education to develop confidence, creativity and community in underserved youth from low-income neighborhoods in Central Texas.

In their own words

“For the past decade, we’ve witnessed music open doors for so many young people,” said Mark Turk, founder and executive director of Beat 4 Beat, in a news release. “It’s been an honor to walk alongside students as they’ve discovered their voices and built lifelong confidence through music.”
