The women-owned candy store Southern Sweets Candy Company celebrated their recent opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony July 23.

Co-owners Marianne Gibson and Paige Powell, marked three months since they first opened in Dripping Springs in late April, offering a variety of candy selections for guests.

Guests can “pick n’ mix” their candies or customize their own candy kabob, which includes their selection of candies on skewers. Ready-made candy kabobs, including seasonal varieties, are also available.
