The Pflugerville mayoral race will head to a runoff election after Doug Weiss and Pat McCord received 47.38% and 34.55% of the votes, respectively, this November.
With no candidate receiving a 50% majority of the vote, the two candidates will move on to a runoff election. Following the two leading candidates, Gregory Harrington received 14.69% of the votes, while Andy Lindsey received 3.38%.
Jonathan Coffman will join Pflugerville City Council after winning the Place 1 seat, receiving 55.3% of the votes. He was followed by write-in candidate Sam Aly, who received 29.3% of the votes, and Phil Davis, who received 15.4%.
All results are unofficial until canvassed.

With 93 of the 157 Travis County voting precincts reporting results, Doug Weiss leads the Pflugerville mayor race with 47.50% of the votes, while Pat McCord trails second with 35.11% of the votes.
With no candidate exceeding 50%, Weiss and McCord are poised for a runoff election.
Gregory Harrington also received 13.82% of the votes, while Andy Lindsey pulled in 3.56%.
Jonathan Coffman leads the race for City Council Place 1 with around 55% of the vote.
Trailing Coffman, write-in candidate Sam Aly has received 30.82% of the votes, while Phil Davis received 14.16% of the ballots cast.

Doug Weiss is leading the race for Pflugerville mayor after receiving 47% of ballots cast during early voting, according to unofficial results from the Travis County Clerk’s Office.
The vote
Candidates Pat McCord, Gregory Harrington and Andy Lindsey received 36%, 13% and 3% of early ballots, respectively.
The winner will succeed Mayor Victor Gonzales, who has served three terms allowed by the city charter.
Also on the ballot
In the City Council Place 1 race, Jonathan Coffman leads with 54% of early votes, while Phil Davis has 12%. Write-in candidate Sam Aly has 32% of the votes.
The contest will decide who fills the seat vacated by Doug Weiss, who is running for mayor.
Early voting ended Oct. 31, with more than 5,700 voters casting ballots at the PfISD Rock Gym, Pflugerville’s main early-voting site. Across Travis County, more than 117,000 ballots were submitted in person or by mail—about 13 % of registered voters.
