Pflugerville ISD’s Community Eligibility Provision program has expanded and is now providing free breakfast and lunch to students at 12 of its campuses.

What you need to know

Per the district’s August administration report, the Texas Department of Agriculture recently approved five additional PfISD campuses for the program in 2025-26.

Connally High School as well as Copperfield, Spring Hill, Timmerman and Wieland elementary schools have been added to the list of participating campuses, which include:
  • Barron Elementary
  • Delco Elementary
  • Dessau Elementary
  • Northwest Elementary
  • River Oaks Elementary
  • Dessau Middle School
  • Westview Middle School
All students at these campuses will receive free meals, regardless of socioeconomic status.

According to district documents, the program eliminates the need for free and reduced lunch meal applications at these campuses, but PfISD is requesting that families submit a socioeconomic information form.

What else?

Per the report, reduced-price lunches are also set to become free across the district beginning Sept. 1 through a two-year state grant, and students who were on the reduced-price program will now eat free.

Additionally, there will not be an increase in meal prices this school year. Per the report, the district has maintained the same student meal pricing since 2018-19.
