A Handel’s Ice Cream, which makes and serves ice cream, is expected to open in the Gateway 29 Development in Liberty Hill in spring 2026, according to Shakeel Badarpura, one of the owners of the development.

The national company started in Youngstown, Ohio, in the 1940s, and the shops still use some of the founder’s original methods in making the ice cream on-site, according to the company’s website.
