From specialty coffee shops to sandwich chains, here are six restaurants that opened recently in the Austin metro.

Postino

The wine cafe Postino opened its second Austin location in Bryker Woods this August. The business offers a selection of wine and beer as well as bruschetta, paninis, salads and charcuterie boards.

Hamilton Mediterranean Grill & Pizza

Located near Bee Cave, Hamilton Mediterranean Grill & Pizza offers a variety of Middle Eastern dishes, as well as pizza and shawarma. The restaurant is located next door to a Texaco gas station, located just off Hamilton Pool Road. Pickup and delivery options are available on the business’s website.

Arwa Yemeni Coffee

Yemeni coffee shop Arwa opened in Cedar Park in June. The business serves traditional Sana'ani coffee, Adeni tea and pastries as well as classic espresso-based beverages, including lattes. Ice refreshers and smoothies are also available.

Snarf’s

The sandwich chain Snarf’s opened a new location in Northwest Austin in march. The shop offers toasted sub sandwiches, salads, a daily rotating soup menu, sides such as potato salad and macaroni salad, and desserts such as cookies and brownies.

Paperboy



A second Paperboy location opened in South Austin in June, featuring a larger kitchen and a walk-up window for to-go orders. Breakfast and lunch options, like sandwiches and pancakes, are available, as well as pastries, coffee and cocktails.

First Watch

The daytime dining restaurant First Watch opened in EastVillage, showcasing breakfast lunch and dinner options in North Austin. The restaurant offers classics such as avocado toast and specialty entrees including smoked salmon eggs Benedict and lemon ricotta pancakes.
