After a fire broke out inside Georgetown's Office Lounge bar Oct. 16, owner and operator Bill Fischer said his team is preparing to reopen this year.

What we know

Investigators have since ruled the official cause for the fire as undetermined, Georgetown Assistant Fire Chief Clay Shell said in an email to Community Impact.

Officials determined the fire originated from a plastic container holding laundered towels inside Office Lounge. Despite "thorough examination," a specific source for ignition remains unidentified, Shell said.

The fire damaged the rooftops of several businesses in the shopping center, according to previous Community Impact reporting.
