Cafe Java is set to open its first new franchise location in 20 years in Northwest Austin.

The coffee chain is setting up the newest location in the site of the former Illuminate Coffee, which closed in March.

What they offer

The shop offers a wide selection of signature drinks, both hot and cold, including unique creations like the Fruit Loops Matcha Latte and the Peachy Keen Milkshake. In addition to drinks, Cafe Java has a large menu of breakfast foods, including omelettes, breakfast tacos, sandwiches and French toast. The new location will also be the second Cafe Java to have alcohol on its menu.

The new location will be dine-in only, but store reps said the company hopes to add a separate counter for to-go orders to help expedite orders for people on the go.

What else?

The company has two Austin-area locations, one on Metric Boulevard in Austin and another on Gattis School Road in Round Rock.
