Capital Area Child Development Center is set to open to families and their children in Cedar Park this summer.

How it works

The childcare center will serve children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old with programs for infants, toddlers, preschool and prekindergarten students. The center provides a STEAM-based approach focused on science, technology, engineering, art and math. Speech, occupational and behavioral therapy services will be available.

The backstory

The business was founded by mother-daughter duo of Jamie Putnam, a speech-language pathologist, and Kelsea Kosarek, who has a degree in Educational Psychology. The new childcare center is owned by Capital Area Speech and Occupational Therapy.
