Local couple Jack and Aly Plimpton are hiring team members as they ramp up to host their grand opening this summer.

The franchise offers dozens of flavors for its housemade Italian ice, ice cream and the brand’s “jelati”—a combination of the two.

What to expect


Jack Plimpton said the shop will pair sweet treats with a fun, welcoming atmosphere—whether guests are stopping by for an after-school snack, an evening outing, or a quick relief break during errands.

“We hope to create a place for community, fun and a cool, vibrant time,” he said.

Meet the owners

Recently married, the Plimptons moved to Bastrop in 2022 after attending the Bastrop Music Festival for the first time.

“We instantly fell in love with the town,” Jack Plimpton said. “We hope to contribute to and enhance such a wonderful place while protecting its charm.”
