Chipotle Mexican Grill opened its first Bastrop spot in May.

In a nutshell

The team opened the fast-casual eatery within the new portion of Burleson Crossing, between Lowe's Home Improvement and Hwy. 71.

Other businesses, including Jeremiah's Italian Ice and Palm Beach Tan, are expected to open in that same section of the shopping center later this year.
