The tax rate is the same as what was approved for the previous financial year, but represents an effective 8.8% increase due to new legislation around school funding.
The tax rate set by city officials is slightly lower than FY 2024-25.
Local government agencies must post meeting notices at least three business days in advance of the meeting. The new rules seek to give residents more time to review meeting agendas and participate in local government meetings, lawmakers said.
